Harrington Street Lobby,
The Rocks Sydney

The Leda Clock Tower building is an existing 1980’s building located at the Rocks in Sydney. The awkwardly proportioned lobby with low ceilings and lifts recessed well into the building presented a significant design challenge.

Within limited budget constraints AVA have successfully addressed the existing lobby proportions by the innovative use of lighting and clean lines to define circulation spaces and increase the visual perception of the ceiling height.

The selected finishes are a traditional and timeless combination of sandstone and timber flooring consistent with the Rocks area. Feature lighting defines intimate seating zones that showcase classic modern furniture.
