Urbanest, Adelaide

North Terrace is a prominent boulevard in the City of Adelaide lined with heritage buildings of state significance including civic buildings, galleries and universities.

With approximately 675 beds the building is 20 storeys high offering a range of student accommodation, amenities and a roof terrace that overlooks the greater city of Adelaide. 

AVA participated in the design process with the Government Architect of South Australia to achieve design goals consistent with the desired character of North Terrace.  The construction program was particularly constrained and the construction methodology utilising bubble deck floor slabs and precast panels was tailored to this end.
